MVP Phoenix has taken on former player Lee "Forev" Sang-don as a temporary substitute, according to Valve's Dota Major Registration site.
Forev was part of Team Secret until earlier this week, when he was replaced by Maurice "KheZu" Gutmann.
The South Korean has spent the majority of his competitive career with MVP, only parting with the organization after The International in August when his contract expired. Earlier this year while Forev was still with the team, they placed 5th-6th at The Manila Major and 5th-6th at The International.
After leaving MVP, Forev joined Secret in their bid to qualify for The Boston Major, along with MVP teammates Pyo "MP" No-a and Zheng "MidOne" Yeik Nai. However, the team struggled to find cohesion at the EU regional qualifier. Though they made it through the round robin, in the second stage they lost four matches in a row and were first to be eliminated from the bracket. The team decided to make changes to its roster not long afterward.
Neither Forev nor MVP Phoenix have yet made an official statement about his return, and it is unclear whether he has re-signed with his old team.
