Outemu Switches (Blue, Black, Brown and Red) - Pack of 10
Perfect fit for soldering or direct Change-it-yourself (CIY) switches
For the mechanical keyboard enthusiast and also gamers who are faced with failing switches. Your saviour is here! If you are having traditional mechanical keyboards with soldered switches, you will need to know how to unsolder old switches and resolder new switches - which presumably you have already known if you are a mechanical keyboard enthusiast.
For CIY switches it is rather easier, just pluck your old switches out carefully by clipping the middle triggering point, and push the new switches in.
Mix the switches however you want!
Arrows keys in blue switches, WASD in black, numbers in brown and all others in red? Why not?
Available in Black, Blue, Brown, and Red, Outemu key switches come in a pack of 10. Outemu switches feature clear tops and are through-hole LED compatible. Each switch is guaranteed for 50 million strokes. All stems are compatible with MX housing and with 2 pins, allowing you to choose from the wide variety of keycaps.
How Is Each Switch Different?
Like Cherry switches, the Blacks and Reds are linear, while the Blues are clicky and the Browns are tactile. All switches offer 4 millimeters of total travel, with the actuation point occurring after about 2 millimeters. While Black switches require a minimum of 40 grams of actuation force, Blue, Brown, and Red switches require only 30.
